About the team

At Bridg, you will be solving complex problems with a business that celebrates innovation and values your contributions. We want you to wake up each day excited to use cutting edge tools/technologies and software development practices. Our platform is a combination of microservices and a large-scale, near-real time data pipeline (handling 10s of billions of data points of sale transaction data from major retailers).

We use highly advanced technology to identify and track purchasers in a physical retail store. Our technology relies on data science and probabilistic modeling to identify and track the purchasers. Our current tech stack includes Flink, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, AWS Athena, Glue, Redshift, EMR, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and Java Spring Boot based microservices.

About the Position

Reports to: Head of Engineering, Bridg

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Bridg is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect, design, and implement highly scalable, data integration, and transformation platform. You will be creating and building the platform that includes ingestion and transformation of data, data governance, machine learning, analytics, and consumer insights.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expert in architecting, designing, and implementing using big data technologies, built for high performance and scale.
  • Strong programming skills
  • Proficient with SQL and database, data warehouse technologies
  • Experience in ETL workflow management tools (Airflow)
  • Experience functioning in a team or technical lead role
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly motivated, curious, capable and a lifetime learner
  • BA/BS Degree in computer science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS Big Data related technologies (EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, RDS, Redshift)
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Java and Python experience preferred
  • Experience with various data warehouse technologies (MySQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Spring Boot experience

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 annually, not including bonus and other benefits. Cardlytics’ salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay may be determined by additional factors such as role-related skills, experience, education, training, and more.
