Job Summary

As the developer for the cloud business intelligence system, you are expected to develop, maintain, and operationally run a business intelligence system that allows analysts as well as executives to slice and dice their business at ease and with modern tools. Our combined responsibility is to make our product teams, sales, and marketing successful in gaining market share and exceed expectations in generating revenue. The system you own needs to be up to date with the latest data so it can inform leadership of critical trends fast. The system needs to support state-of-the-art visualization and query-building tools that are automatically updated daily and for business reviews. Your efforts will enable business analysts and data scientists to develop the insights needed to accelerate growth and reduce risks. This role is part of a global team residing in many time zones and working in a hybrid work mode, working from home as well as coming to the office(s). Supporting multiple time-zones and flexibility in work hours is required to succeed in this position.

Job Requirements

  • A deep understanding of Cloud platforms Azure, GCP and AWS.
  • Data warehouse and ETL development skills, like Snowflake, Informatica and equivalent.
  • Experience in developing Microservice, REST, JSON, XML, and APIs.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, Python, Java, JavaScript, Scala, SQL, MS SQL Server, NoSQL.
  • Experience in large scale data modeling, data processing, and data security.
  • Self-starter and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have experience in developing solutions in Big Data Domain.
  • Experience in AI/ML is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • You will participate in technical discussions, to evaluate requirements, review code, and provide solutions.
  • You will have full responsibility for developing end-to-end solutions in Agile environment, including development, testing and deployment.
  • Identify the best technical solution to the business requirements.
  • Support publications of release schedules.
  • Conduct code reviews and training sessions.
  • Conduct profiling, benchmarking and performance tuning activities as needed.
  • Respond and solve production issues per business expectations.
  • Deliver ER diagrams and other technical drawings.
  • Triage business challenges with expert knowledge of business data

Education

  • A Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 8+ years of software development experience in the data domain of big data, data mining, data analysis and AI/ML.
