Job Description

We are looking for a strong ML Platform Engineer who can develop and maintain our internal ML platform. You will design and implement key components to train and serve state of the art machine learning models. You will be part of our experienced team of AI engineers and work closely with our cloud infrastructure team to ensure performant and clean code.

YOUR PROFILE

Required:

• Passion for fast, robust, readable and overall clean code
• Full proficiency in python-based collaborative software engineering: follow consistent style-guide, clean design patterns, self-documented code, unit/integration tests, type annotations
• General: git VCS, code reviews, development on Linux, distributed computing concepts
• Writing and optimizing code for distributed computing (Ray, Apache Beam, Apache Spark...)
• Experience in a variety of software architectures and design patterns
• Familiarity with the ML lifecycle:
• Data ingestion
• Serving and deploying (Deep) machine learning models for real-time and batch applications
• Load balancing, scaling and combining model deployments and heuristics
• Continuous monitoring of model outputs and results

Optional:

• Knowlege of Deep Learning Framework (Pytorch, Tensorflow) and their utilization to build and train ML models
• Computer Vision (CV): CNNs, spatio-temporal data, segmentation, object detection, image augmentation
• Experience with scientific python libraries such as: numpy, matplotlib, scipy, scikit-learn, scikit-optimize, pandas, seaborn
• Acceleration in python: numba, c++/CUDA extensions, cython, PyTorch c++/CUDA extensions, ONNX, TPUs
• General: Cloud Technologies, SQL, Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Ray, data visualization
