Job Description
You will be responsible for graduating our experimental machine learning algorithms and services to reliable, scalable, secure and privacy-aware production systems for our customers.
In this capacity you will be responsible to design and implement the frontend and backend architecture of our machine learning pipeline – leveraging existing infrastructure and frameworks.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable backend and frontend services for machine learning
- Strong experience in database implementations (SQL/NoSQL/Graph), distributed storage systems and web-Frameworks, APIs and microservices
- Batch and streaming data pipeline platforms (Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Dataflow, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Ray)
- Coding skills include Python
- General web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a given
- Able to deploy on major cloud compute platforms (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud)
- Experience with resource scaling / load balancing, config. management, deployment
- Designing secure and privacy-sensitive systems (GDPR compliance, wipeout/retention), user account management
Education
- B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in computer science a related field is required
- 3+ years of experience
