OPPO US Research Center focuses on research and development of novel technologies that can be delivered to flagship smart phones. We are searching for researchers and innovators who consider themselves dynamic and collaborative, and seek excellence by thriving in the fast-paced AI areas.

OPPO Seattle Research Center is seeking AI research scientist on generative AI to join our digital content team. As generative AI creates limitless possibilities, we focus on using it for human-centric content, such as image/video/motion/text generation and editing. Join our team in this exciting field to revolutionize user experience in creating using generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, optimize novel generative AI models, such as multi-modal model, large-scale model, LLM, with an emphasis on human-centric image/video/motion/text generation and editing.
• Follow up and explore cutting-edge technology, and technical breakthroughs in AIGC. It’s encouraged to publish in top-tier venues.
• Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to develop from prototype models to production

Requirements

• A PhD in computer science/ECE or relevant field
• Deep understanding of diffusion models, GANs, and LLMs
• Excellent communication skills, strong learning ability, proactive and enthusiastic attitude

Preferred Qualification

• Top-tier publications in Generative AI topics (diffusion models, LLMs, …)
• Experience working with human-centric content generation and editing
• Experience with optimizing model for deployment on GPU, CPU, mobile, and other platform
• Experience working with large scale data collection/curation, distributed training

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$300,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
