We are experiencing rapid growth; as a result, our Data Science team is seeking highly talented clinical data scientists with exceptional analytical skills and a solid educational background in healthcare fields.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Scientist with a strong background and subject matter expertise in clinical research, health outcomes, and a medical degree. As a Medical Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end health outcome measurement and interpretation of these outcomes to various audiences. You will also design and build a knowledge base for AI-assisted tools for clinicians, help improve AI-based stratification models to predict hospital admissions and various health events and conditions, and work on conversational AI solutions to improve patient outcome and experiences.

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

  1. Collaborate with key business leaders to understand their business problems and translate them into well-defined analytical solutions with measurable business metrics.
  2. Work collaboratively with other data scientists, analysts, and clinicians to improve AI-based stratification models to predict hospital admissions and various health events and conditions.
  3. Develop and implement strategies for health outcome measurement and analysis across multiple projects and studies.
  4. Communicate complex health outcomes data to diverse audiences through written reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
  5. Design and build a knowledge base for AI-assisted tools for clinicians that can be used to reduce clinician burn-out and improve patient outcomes.
  6. Develop conversational AI solutions to improve healthcare experience of our members.
  7. Design and implement health outcome experiments and experimental frameworks.
  8. Collaborate with external partners, universities, and researchers to develop and validate new health outcome measurement tools and methodologies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Minimum Experience:
  2. 5+ years relevant experience in predictive and prescriptive modeling and analysis for various healthcare problems
  3. Education/Licensure: a. Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a strong background in clinical research and health outcomes
  4. Other:
  5. Strong track record of publishing research in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
  6. Proficiency in medical writing and ability to create medical knowledgebases for AI solutions.
  7. Experience working with large and complex healthcare datasets such as electronic health records, claims data, and clinical trial data.
  8. Strong statistical analysis skills and expertise in data visualization tools
  9. Understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development, and evaluation data sets, etc.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  11. Familiarity with machine learning techniques and AI solutions
  12. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  13. Experience in setting experimental analytics frameworks, clinical research, trials, or strategies for complex scenarios.
