The Role:

Hi, I’m Efe Ogolo, the Director of Data Science and Analytics at Mejuri, looking for a Data Science Lead, Growth & Engagement to join our team.

What You'll Do:

  • Deploy predictive analytics for key metrics (Churn, Conversion, CLV etc.) and optimize audience segmentation and targeting through predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Lead efforts to optimize the promotion engine by conducting A/B tests, implementing algorithmic improvements, and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness through automation.
  • Own vendor attribution model, and generate actionable insights into performance of marketing channels and other distribution channels.
  • Perform comprehensive customer analysis, assess marketing channel effectiveness and ROI, and evaluate marketing campaign performance to provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders from product, marketing, CX, and design to conduct analyses and develop data product solutions that deepen our understanding of the key drivers behind user growth and retention.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide technical and thought leadership designing and implementing advanced analytics techniques.

What you bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience leveraging Marketing Analytics and Data Science.
  • Proficiency in statistical analytical tools, such as SQL and Python
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing or Product verticals.
  • Experience leveraging campaign analytics
  • Effective communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong bias to action, delivering results quickly with iteration instead of waiting for perfection
  • Ability to think critically, objectively, rationally. Reason and communicate in a result-oriented, data-driven manner. High autonomy

Things we consider an asset:

Experience building attribution models (MMM,MTA), RFM & Churn scores, Customer Segmentation, etc

  • Previous experience with User acquisition, retention & revenue forecasting
  • Comfort using tools such as Dagster & Looker
  • Familiarity with open-source libraries like PyMC and similar tools for probabilistic programming and data analysis

Key Performance Indicators:

Implement data-driven initiatives that appropriately impact customer KPIs including

  • New Customer Growth
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
  • Repeat Purchase Rate (RPR)
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Average Order Value (AOV)
  • First Order Value (FOV)
  • Cost of Acquisition (CAC) and others
