Position: Senior Architect
Brief about Role
The Senior Software Architect will be hands on coding and leading the development and productization of products and AI technology throughout 24/7.ai. This AI technology is deployed across disparate domains including advanced natural language processing (including large language models) and conversational chat bots in both text and speech, end user predictions using diverse cross channel data, advanced analytics around managing workforces and analyzing the conversation flows. This candidate will work closely with a data science team to enable the right platform runtime, AI APIs, and general AI self-service tooling to enable the full operationalization of data science work and exposing data science capabilities as a platform to our client developers and data scientists. The AI platform is the underpinnings of the award-winning solutions for fortune 500 companies that 24/7.ai enables. The candidate will also work with our product team both on a data pipeline to process data from our product stacks, as well as on the deployment of products to support both conversations (digital and speech) from human agents and automated conversations from automated systems. Responsibilities of the role include the design and implementation of runtimes, tooling, data, and machine learning pipelines, as well as setting architectural direction over the various products. The candidate is also responsible for helping architect cloud solutions as part of a joint devops environment working with sre, devops, and engineers to deliver a robustly deployed and managed solution.
Successful candidates will have a computer science or related degree and expert level knowledge in backend server-side technology at scale, REST-API and service-oriented computing, and be proficient at nodejs development, Java development, and python programming. Comfort and experience with machine learning concepts and AI is also required. Experiencing delivering software as a service to enterprise clients is expected. Experience with cloud service providers and delivering highly reliant services and platforms to fortune 500 size companies also desired. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical creativity, problem solving ability, and software process and lifecycle expertise. The ideal candidate will enjoy learning new things, sharing this knowledge with the team, and learning from the team all while being passionate about building great products.
