Purpose

  • The Manager, Business Solutions Analysis is responsible exercising discretion and independent judgement for working and directly engaging with Hyundai AutoEver America (HAEA) and/or 3rd Parties to develop and maintain the technical capabilities required to support HMA business objectives.
  • This role will be responsible for working and engaging with all business units to identify, define and fund IT solutions and needs for the business to meet their defined objectives. Success will require sophisticated process, technology, and project management skills, as well as strong analytical skills.

Major Responsibilities

  • Engage with HMA business divisions, primarily Sales, HR, Finance and Purchasing, to fully understand their IT needs and work collaboratively to identify and scope a solution to meet those needs.
  • Collect high-level business requirements from the business units to identify business need and assist in solutioning development to accomplish defined objectives.
  • Engage with the business to estimate the ROI/ benefit of implementing desired request to HMA’s bottom line.
  • Manage the creation, collection and reporting of key performance metrics necessary to ensure optimal IT maintenance and development.
  • Partner with Business Owners, PMs and 3rd Parties to manager multiple projects, monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Use advanced knowledge to assess risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
  • Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
  • Manage coordinate materials executive DBP and IT Steering Committee meetings.

Authority

  • This position is expected to provide critical thinking to propose ideas or solutions that are in the best interest for the HMA organization. Hiring, termination approving timecards and other Manager related duties are required for this position.
  • Responsible for setting objectives and achieving results that have a significant impact on departmental performance.

Education

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

  • Six or more years of planning, systems, or operations experience with an understanding of IT systems & organizations.
  • Automotive industry experience with an understanding of IT organizations, their purpose, and the development cycle preferred.
  • Management consulting experience a plus.
  • Experience applying common development methodologies, financial analysis and project management techniques.
  • Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations and other material.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong analytical skills and mastery of analytical tools (e.g. Excel, Report Analytics, etc.).
  • The ability to manage by influence as well as authority.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Ability to identify/quantify business opportunity as it applies to technology.
  • Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths and make recommendations to leverage or augment strengths and weaknesses.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

$85,400.00 - $122,000.00 Annual
