Job Description

The Role

The Software Data Science at Logitech is looking for support in activities related to machine learning, data science, data analysis and data science platforms.

You will be supporting the Logitech Software team by carrying out exploratory data analysis, developing new data models and data science solutions for business problems, or developing new data science platform components to support these activities. You will collaborate with other team members and with other teams to improve the understanding of the business challenges and to ensure the solutions you develop are practical and effective.

You will be part of the Software Data Science team at Logitech and work with Data Scientists, Data Science Platform Engineers and Business stakeholders, and will contribute to the evolution of Logitech’s software and services.

Internship duration is 6 months.

In this role you will:

• Define and improve the definitions of data science projects to match the needs of the software team and business stakeholders

• Analyze data and develop models and algorithms

• Design experiments, and evaluate and monitor the performance of these models and algorithms

• Document your findings in internal reports and present your results to your colleagues and the management

• Develop and document common components of the data science platform to be used in other projects

• Learn to work in close collaboration with other data scientists and data platform engineers within an international company

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Curiosity and passion for data science

• Comfortable with data science and data cleaning in Python

• Hands-on proficiency at developing and applying machine learning and data models

• Skilled at presenting results of data analysis and using data to tell a story

• Self-starter, with ability to manage your own project

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (other languages as a plus)

• Knowledge of the AWS cloud platform is a plus

Education:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from data science, computer science, or other related fields
