POSITION:Professional-Big Data Software Engineer
JOB Location:2900 W Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75075
Duties:Develop high performance, distributed computing tasks using Big Data technologies: Hadoop, NoSQL, text mining and other distributed environment technologies. Work with JVM-based function languages: Scala and Clojure. Utilize Hadoop query languages: Pig, Hive, Scalding, Cascalog, PyCascading. Use alternative HDFS-based computing frameworks: Spark and STORM. Use Big Data programming languages and technology, write code, complete programming and documentation and perform testing and debugging of applications. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in distributed, large scale analytics and visualization solutions. Interact with data scientists and industry experts to understand how data needs to be converted, loaded and presented. Work in a highly agile environment. Create and deploy Machine Learning models along with Java and Python programing skills. Utilize the following technology and software: TensorFlow, H2O, Kubernetes, Cloud expert and Flask.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation working with JVM-based function languages: Scala and Clojure; utilizing Hadoop query languages: Pig, Hive, Scalding, Cascalog, PyCascading; using alternative HDFS-based computing frameworks: Spark and STORM; analyzing, designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements and/or new products used in distributed, large scale analytics and visualization solutions; creating and deploying Machine Learning models along with Java and Python programing skills; and utilizing the following technology and software: TensorFlow, H2O, Kubernetes, Cloud expert and Flask.
