Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Vice President, Data Science to join our Data Science team. As a Vice President, Data Science at IAS, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and vision for the team that is a center of innovation and a major contributor to the company's core products. What you’ll get to do:

• Manage core data science capabilities for advertising verification products (brand safety and fraud) analyzing unique datasets across open web, social networks, mobile apps and CTV apps
• Manage data science teams in day-to-day operations: support and maintenance of existing products, allocate resources, and collaborate on roadmap
• Scope work and projects based on classification techniques (mainly text, but eventually image and video) and network analysis, working in coordination with the product management team and the PMO organization
• Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to manage and deploy machine learning models within larger engineering workflows in cloud-based production environments
• Communicate data science concepts and issues to a variety of stakeholders – technical and non-technical – across the organization, including sales, marketing, customer support, the senior leadership team, and occasionally participating in client meetings
• Participate and actively lead M&A activities; due diligence, integration planning and execution

You should apply if you have most of of this experience:

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field (machine learning, computer science, statistics, physics, mathematics, or related field)
• 15+ years industry experience in data science and analytics, applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems
• 10+ years experience in team management (including team managers) and talent development
• Significant experience in text and multimedia classification at large scale in production environments, including training data acquisition and management, evaluation methodology and practical scenarios like dataset shift, underspecification, extreme class imbalance
• Some experience in unsupervised learning/network analysis
• Some familiarity with modern deep learning approaches
• Experience with different crowdsourcing platforms, including methodologies for quality control.
• Experience in ad-tech is a plus
• MLOps or comparable experience/related experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and in matrix organizations.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
• Working familiarity/past experience with data science tools and technologies: Python, SQL, machine learning libraries/frameworks, cloud solutions
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.

New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $265,000 - $454,000, actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
