The Role:

We are looking to recruit an Analytics Developer as part of a specialist team responsible for building reporting in the central monitoring platform.

The candidate will be working with Analytics Development Leads to define study specific deployment, data pre-processing and maintenance of data for analysis and process documentation.

  • Use data mapping, extraction, transformation and load techniques to develop outputs for central monitoring analytics requirements.
  • Design and build cross-page visualization solutions in enterprise visual analytics tools; build complex information models, including database write-back; and write moderately complex R and python scripts to support visual analytics solutions.
  • May need to apply clustering, regression and forecasting methods as part of analytics solutions to clinical analytics problems.
  • Work with central monitoring stakeholders to define new key risk indicators (KRIs); automated, analytics-based approaches to KRI aggregation; and new analytics-driven approaches to safety signal and trend detection.
  • May need to work with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements for low-to-medium complexity projects.
  • Train new team members in foundation level analytics competencies and introduce new team members to the procedures and techniques relevant to the analytics development role.
  • Communicate analytics requirements and solutions effectively to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to clinical risk management department quality control procedures.
  • Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

What you will need:

  • A degree / Master in Computer Science / Data Analytics / Similar
  • 2-3 years working with a Data Analytics position
  • Experience working in a CRO/ Pharma environment would be nice to have
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights for partners within our central laboratory function
  • Hands on experience using SQL, Tableau, Python etc.
  • Excellent communicator and comfortable working with colleagues at all levels
