Job Description

Celigo is a fast-growing Silicon Valley startup, is revolutionizing the cloud-based application integration landscape with our integrator.io iPaaS platform. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Engineering to lead our AI/ML initiatives and drive innovation throughout our integration platform

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of AI/ML engineers in the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of AI/ML frameworks and technologies, such as OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, Spacy, Hugging Face, etc. within the organization's platforms and applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and software engineers to understand requirements and develop AI/ML solutions that align with their needs, ensuring functionality and a seamless user experience.
• Architect, implement, and manage Python-based microservices on AWS using containerization and Kubernetes, establishing fully automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Develop and refine Natural Language Processing (NLP) models using the OpenAI/ChatGPT platform to meet specific use cases and requirements.
• Apply machine learning techniques to analyze and interpret data, leveraging AI/ML capabilities to enhance the organization's products and services.
• Ensure the security and privacy of user data by implementing appropriate safeguards and staying informed about industry best practices.
• Provide leadership in hiring, training, and mentoring a world-class team of AI/ML engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring their success.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software product development, with at least 3 years of focused expertise in architecting AI/ML solutions, NLP, data science, deep learning, etc.

• At least 4 years of experience in building & managing product engineering teams.

• Proven experience in building and supporting cloud based product development at scale.
• A postgraduate degree in a relevant field with a strong research background or equivalent job experience demonstrating a track record of successful outcomes.
• Hands-on experience developing AI/ML models in real-world environments and integrating cloud-native or hybrid AI/ML technologies into large-scale enterprise applications is highly desirable.
• Expertise in Python and familiarity with Node.js.
• Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
