Founded by Sean Parker, Cantina is a new social app for humans and AI. It's the only private club in the galaxy where intelligent life forms and artificially intelligent robots come to play. Cantina is building the first social AI platform and is seeking a strategic, analytical and passionate Business Operations & Analytics Manager to help launch and scale Cantina, an AI powered consumer social app.

In this role, you will support the Director of Strategy in key strategic initiatives associated with growing the user base and monetizing the Cantina. The ideal candidate is an independent, strategic, and analytical thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large), has an outstanding work ethic, excellent analytical and storytelling skills, and is excited to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.

A bit about the role:

• Evaluate application performance to goals on an ongoing basis
• Provide data-driven recommendations to ensure we are on track to meet our goals
• Provide analysis and recommendations to help evaluate new revenue growth and monetization opportunities
• Execute research plans to gain valuable insights into the competitive landscape and recommendations for cross functional teams (e.g. marketing, product)
• Support the development of short- and long-term business and financial goals 
• Regularly summarize and present updates and recommendations to teammates and leadership

A bit about you: 

• 3 years minimum professional experience in analytics, strategy, operations and/or business development, preferably at a top consulting, technology, or innovative consumer application business 
• Outstanding analytical capabilities including financial modeling skills
• Skilled at pulling data from Redshift using SQL 
• Experience building Looker dashboards 
• Exceptional relationship-builder who works well with people from technical and business backgrounds
• Demonstrated success developing clear and compelling executive-level presentations
• Ability to work effectively and achieve results across internal functional areas and external parties in ambiguous situations
• Strong oral and written communication skills; confidence and poise in presenting to teammates and executive leadership
• Team player - no job is too small or too large
• Bonus:
• Experience at a high-growth tech company a plus
• Experience using Tableau and Mixpanel 

Pay Equity: 

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $90-$130K. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered: skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

Our process – we break it up into 5 stages:

• Initial call with Tech Talent Acquisition team (30 mins)
• Hiring Manager interview (45 minutes)
• Tech Interview - 45 minutes (Justin) - (SQL skills evaluated)
• Homework
• Executive Interviews - 2 meetings - 30 minutes each
