Cantina is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Community Marketing Manager, with a strong background in creating college marketing programs and onboarding ambassadors to drive high-quality downloads and build brand affinity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing successful marketing and event marketing campaigns, creating brand awareness in non-traditional ways, and experience in community management, particularly for college campuses. 

Our college marketing approach aims to extend Cantina's brand values to students around the world. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Cantina's collegiate marketing efforts, including ideation and project management support for experiential activations that build brand love across college campuses in the US. 

Your role will involve executing high-impact programs to generate growth and engagement among college communities, as well as facilitating word-of-mouth through unique live event activations in the US. Drawing on your expertise and understanding of current trends, you will deliver high-impact, shareable moments to a Gen-Z audience. We are looking for a creative, adaptable candidate who is unafraid to pilot new tactics and think outside the box.

A bit about the role:

  • Manage and oversee Cantina's College Ambassador Program, ensuring successful onboarding and advocacy of the brand
  • Develop workback plans to keep internal work streams on track and ensure timely execution
  • Recruit and lead Cantina college ambassadors who will serve as advocates and help acquire new users
  • Provide on-site support for College IRL programming to drive growth and contribute to business’ KPIs
  • Plan and execute community initiatives such as contests, events, and user-generated content campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and HR
  • Analyze and report community metrics, feedback, and trends to gain actionable insights for improving community engagement and satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitors' activities to identify new opportunities for community growth and innovation

A bit about you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in field marketing, guerrilla marketing, event marketing, sales, or business development
  • Proven experience in creating and managing college ambassador programs
  • A team player who fosters connections and builds trusting relationships
  • Keen awareness of the ever-changing social and cultural landscape, with the ability to identify new trends
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong planning and organizational skills
  • A self-starter who thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight, demonstrating a 'can-do' attitude and flexible approach
  • Passion for building communities, fostering connections, and creating exceptional user experiences
  • Experience analyzing market trends and developing effective strategies to drive engagement
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel within the assigned territory
  • Fluent in English, Spanish language skills are a plus

Pay Equity: 

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $100-$125K. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered: skills, experience, job scope, and competitive compensation market data.
