Job Description

Duties: Manage and nurture a data science team for science initiative. Lead data science algorithms research and solution development across predictive modeling, optimization, forecasting, scientific attribution, segmentation, simulation and marketing analytics. Develop cutting edge statistical and economic models with big data in marketing and measurement. Formulate sophisticated data science methodologies development to help clients work through challenging marketing planning issues and business questions. Identify innovative ways to drive efficiency in our data and modeling processes. Serve as an integral part of both the Project and Technology teams, aligning research methodology with practical application to effectively address the evolving needs of our clients. Collaborate with the Project and Technology teams to recommend methodology solutions which lead to more informed decisions and improved business performance. Collaborate with the client engagement team for end-to-end customized data science solutions: to collect pain points, conduct research and deploy models using existing data or collecting additional data with advanced statistical techniques. Develop business intelligence dashboards to illustrate insight, interpret the data, illustrate insight to facilitate decision making process.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or a related quantitative field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or related. Must have 3 years of experience with: driving data science and machine learning projects including problems definition, mathematical framework mapping, data analysis, model development, and performance metrics definition; using Python open-source library for data science including Anaconda, Sci-kit Learn, Statsmodel, Panda, and NumPy. Must have 2 years of experience with: using Open-source Optimization framework, Bayesian modeling framework and Time series forecasting open-source libraries such as Scipy, NLOPT, pymc3 and prophet; developing and deploying data science and machine learning solutions as REST API services; using marketing mix models and hypothesis testing for measurement and optimization; applying knowledge of multi-touch attribution modeling for digital marketing; and using Algorithms and open-source tools for model explain-ability such as SHAP or equivalent.
