Job Description

What will you do?

As a Lead Behavioral Scientist, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to apply psychological frameworks and behavioral science theories within the healthcare domain to develop and optimize EVYD’s products and services. You will also coordinate and lead scientific discussions and reviews pertaining to clinical domains, commercial ventures and EVYD’s overall direction. Additionally, you will review and guide junior staff in their daily work deliverables.

This role reports to our Head of Medical and is based in Singapore.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Create knowledge repositories, nudge and health libraries, labels, and recommendations that integrate the behavioral science and health domains.
• Develop and refine a behavioral science framework to apply in the healthcare and health promotion domains, with the goal of engaging our users. This will draw on literature reviews, behavioral science theories, clinical experience, and research.
• Support and guide the crafting of medical intelligence solutions that incorporate medical know-how, psychological and behavioral science theories in human engagement.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to design and implement tests (e.g. A/B testing) in our products to assess the effectiveness of our user engagement methods; and incorporate data science elements into EVYD’s products, including product localization. (e.g. design user and patient journey, provide use cases, etc.).
• Represent EVYD in relevant thought leadership, marketing activities and at various events/conferences.
• Support commercial and business activities for EVYD through engagements with business leads, networking, and conference presentations. 
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to keep up with the latest trends and developments in behavioral science to support EVYD’s business and R&D objectives.
• Contribute to the development of white papers, thought leadership articles, and other materials to demonstrate the company's expertise in the healthcare industry.

Travel requirements

Travel is required for this role (up to 30%).

• In-depth knowledge of central concepts in behavioral science, with knowledge of statistics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Economics, Behavioral Economics, Psychology, or Sociology. 
• At least six years’ working experience in behavioral interventions and/or Psychology. (Experience of working in the healthcare, HealthTech, or Health Informatics sector is an advantage.)
