We are the BMC-Operations Analytics & Data Science team, a highly functional, growing, business & outcome-focused team that enables business groups within BMC to make better decisions centered around our customers. Through our analysis, applications, and insights, we empower our users with insight while supporting and leading strategic initiatives across our entire organization.

And teamwork makes it happen! We are looking for a talented, disciplined, results-driven, and passionate individual data engineer (lead data infrastructure initiatives & integrations) with seamless people skills connecting various stakeholders and audiences around a shared vision & strategy.

Must-Have's Skills and Experience

• Four or more years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics & Machine learning
• Two or more years of experience with deploying at least two machine learning models in production, monitoring 
• Proficiency in SQL ability and Python for data extraction, manipulation, data pipelines, and machine learning using Python 
• Experience using machine learning and deep learning libraries and techniques, including Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and big data platforms
• Experience in managing data science projects, lifecycle, version control (Git, Bitbucket, etc.), documentation (confluence, etc.), and familiarity with the agile framework (Jira, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including communication about data and data storytelling
• Demonstrable results in driving innovation, actionable insights, and value from data science use cases. You will have delivered solutions spanning the Customer Journey in areas such as Account Segmentation, Marketing ROI, Multi-Touch Attribution, Customer Churn, Deal Probability, Forecasting, Recommendation Engines
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, business-growth-focused group that has several concurrent projects
• Strong communicator who can translate data science jargon into simple business language and so-what.

Nice to have:

• SaaS Software industry experience business preferable
• Experience supporting some of the following areas: Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Finance
• Experience with Analytics Governance and Data Literacy in a large, complex enterprise
• Experience with Cloud Platforms, including AWS, GCP & Azure
• Experience with AutoML techniques & products, including DataRobot, Databricks, H2O.ai, Hugging face, AWS Sagemaker, etc.
• Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Explainable A.I.
• Core analytics visualization tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Tableau CRM, etc.)
• Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Marketing Automation Tools (Eloqua, Marketo, etc.) 

Education

• Bachelor's degree or master’s Degree in a Quantitative Field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or related discipline) – Advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in Data Science centric positions
