Job Description

NetEase Games is one of the largest game developers worldwide by size and revenue. So far, the company has more than 100 games in operation. Its recent games include Naraka: Bladepoint, Knives Out, Onmyoji, Identity V, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, etc.

Along with its many creative partnerships, NetEase is expanding its portfolio of studios, including Bad Brain Game Studios, Jackalyptic Games, Jar of Sparks, and Quantic Dream.

Location: Remote in the US West Coast (PST), San Francisco Bay Area highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate the latest AI technologies in gaming.
• Collaborate with a team in Asia and North America. We will prioritize candidates on the West Coast (PST) due to stakeholder schedules.

Requirements:

• Desire to grow a career in the investment field.
• Passion for gaming and AI.
• 5-15 years of experience as a professional software engineer.
• Ability to understand AI technical jargon and translate it into terms that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to coordinate internally and externally, quick learning, critical and analytical thinking, and adaptability.
• Ability to adapt to an international working culture and collaborate with teams across different time zones.
• Superb project management skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Open-minded, hardworking, with a high sense of responsibility and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to fluently write and orally present in Chinese (Mandarin). HSK 6 is recommended but not required.
• Experience as an AI engineer.

Negotiable USD 113,000 - 350,000 base salary range based on years of relevant experience and other factors. Our compensation structure includes other components and is supplemented by benefits and 401K.
