Job Description

ApplyBoard is looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst that values collaboration and nurtures innovation while working in an energetic team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis, data visualization and programming to help the company use the data collected to understand trends, solve business problems, and monitor metrics. They will be responsible for scoping out problems and understanding the problem statement, analyzing data using queries, and creating reports and visualizations for company decision-makers.

What you’ll be doing every day:

• Showcase trends in data and understand “what” is happening
• Create reports and visualizations through data analysis that help solve business problems
• Querying databases to gather data from various sources
• Work with an innovative team to shape the future using objective data-driven decisions 
• Facilitate and support the use of sound analytical practices across the organization 
• Effectively communicate findings in written and oral formats with both internal and external stakeholders, including upper management
• Working closely with our teams in India and North America on daily basis

Qualifications:

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, finance, or similar
• Be able to manage working hours to work with teams in India and Canada
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
• Be able to work independently and comfortable taking initiative on projects
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills
• Proficient with SQL and Tableau
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Metabase preferred
• Experience building solutions with Python a bonus
