Your tasks

• As part of one of our project teams, you will actively participate in the design and deployment of modern database systems within exciting customer projects
• You will support the implementation and orchestration of data processes with a special focus on data quality, security, and resilience
• You will create data pipelines to connect to diverse data science projects
• You will help operate and deploy scalable data infrastructures in the cloud
• You will actively contribute to various formats of internal knowledge exchange
• You will also support our (senior) consultants in their daily work, for example by helping to prepare customer meetings and presentations

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your Master's degree, e.g. in the field of computer science, business informatics, data science, mathematics or similar
• You have very good programming skills in Python, Bash/Shell as well as SQL
• Ideally, you also have knowledge of Scala or Java
• You are confident in working with relational databases & ETL processes and are familiar with modern database architectures (e.g., Delta Lakes)
• Ideally, you have already gained experience with distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Dask, Ray) and in dealing with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• First touch points with orchestration tools like Airflow, Data Factory or Argo would be a plus
• You are familiar with using Docker and have ideally already worked with Kubernetes
• You are a strong communicator, have at least a good command of English and an advanced knowledge of German, both written and verbally (as well as the willingness to improve your skills further)
• Furthermore, you stand out through your reliability as well as thorough and structured way of working

You will benefit from a tailored development program that includes a variety of basic training courses (for example, project management, and presentation styles) as well as intense mentorship.
