Job Description

We are looking for a data scientist or machine learning engineer who has experience training and deploying a variety of computer vision models to be one of our first hires for a new AI assurance venture that will help companies test and audit their AI systems. We value strong technical ability. There will be room to solve challenging problems and adopt cutting edge technology into business applications.

YOU WILL

• Develop tools to apply the latest state of the art in testing for robustness, explainability, fairness, privacy and security of AI and machine learning systems, with a strong focus on computer vision-based models.
• Research and keep up to date with the latest developments in applied machine learning research.
• Perform technical AI evaluations and tests on various AI models and applications that are deployed or to be deployed to end users.
• Work with the product management team to develop a suite of technical and analytical AI evaluation tests that are backed by scientific research and methods.

YOU HAVE

• Extensive experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer training computer vision models and deploying them in real-world contexts.
• An interest in applied research on the limits of AI in general, and specifically in computer vision models.
• Specific experience with ethical or responsible AI methods is not essential but a plus.
