The School of Computing at the University of Leeds was in the top 10 in the UK REF2021 and has a commitment to excellence in our teaching and vibrant research culture. There are currently around 45 members of academic staff and we are now expanding to create new academic positions.

As part of this expansion, we are looking to appoint up to five new colleagues at Lecturer level for new permanent (tenure equivalent) posts in the School. 

We will consider applications from individuals with research areas that match any of the main themes within the School but we are particularly interested to encourage applications from scholars who can contribute to our teaching of the underpinning theoretical foundations in computer science.

This role will be based on the University of Leeds campus. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements subject to delivering on our commitment to an exceptional student experience.
