As an AI researcher, you will be a part of our highly talented innovation team, developing solutions used in real-world applications at massive scale. Working at Sportlogiq, you will have access to massive datasets; significant in-house and cloud processing power; and data annotation services to collect any type of additional data you need; to design your game changing AI models for sport analytics applications.

What you will be doing:

  • Research and develop advanced AI technologies to improve our core ML/CV algorithms and to solve sport analysis problems in a practical and scalable way. Our research focus includes (but is not limited to) the following:
    • Computer vision (object detection, camera calibration, tracking, re-identification, motion capture, activity detection, activity prediction, etc.)
    • Sequence modeling, time series modeling and prediction, probabilistic models
    • General deep learning topics including self-supervised learning, transfer learning, few-shot learning, active learning, generative models and graph neural networks, attention based models (transformers)
  • Collaborating with engineering team and product managers to produce quality AI software solutions as well as reviewing the team’s code and experiments to provide insightful feedback
  • Conducting original, publishable research, to be presented at conferences and contributing to the company’s IP portfolio

What you’ll need:

  • PhD degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or a related quantitative field with research and development experience in computer vision and machine learning
  • Experience with full CV/ML life-cycle from model development, training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and refining and iterating
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., Pytorch or Tensorflow)
  • Solid programming skills in Python or C/C++ and familiarity with software development best practices
  • Strong publication record in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning in top tier conferences and journals
  • Ability to develop large-scale systems working with video/image data
  • Strong working knowledge of software architecture and data structure
