Job Description

• Managing data solutions team to build an optimized ETL/ELT pipelines on both batch and streaming data

• Working with data scientists in model building to both embed within the product and operational fabric of the organisation as well as to inform planning decisions, 

guiding Data Analyst to provide day to day insights/dashboard/reports

• Ensuring a high data quality by maintaining the framework and ensuring thorough test coverage of code in an automated way

• Ensuring data governance tooling is implemented and policies thereby adhered to

• Collaborating with various stakeholders (technical and non techincal) to identify technical problems, design solutions and implement where required.

Leadership & Change management

• Lead the implementation of Data Science and Analytic Strategy across the organization

• Advise C Level management on Data issue

• Provide business case for investments in data development and lead their implementation

• Able to communicate, collaborate and commit to achieving data goal of the organization

Strategic development

• Develop and implement a comprehensive and effective data strategy

• Ensure the team is kept up to speed with current trend

• Succession planning

• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to deliver product suites

Process development

• Constantly identify the new process which is more efficient and implement them successfully

• Develop and oversee best practice for data acquisition

• To support the analysis, interpretation, reporting, and presentation of supporter data

• Plan and implement Learn-Plan-build-Test-Measure-Tweak process

Continuous Data Infrastructure development

• Lead the implementation of data lake , data warehouse , and ML models development with all underlying technologies required.

Management

• Scale data team and hire talents that are culture fit and with right skills

• Ensure that the team is in alignment with business needs via OKRs or KPI, roadmaps, and constant feedback

• Proven track records and data engineering experience, preferably within tech companies

• Solid experience in building scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and processes to ingest data from a variety of data sources

• Experience in datawarehouse design , datalake design, and build system from ground up

• Equipped with leadership skills and experience in managing a team

• Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude

• Ability to communicate with a technical and non-technical audience

• Entrepreneurial and innovative thinker who will keep up with the growth of the company
