Job Description

We are on a mission to improve healthcare using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, Healthcare AI is created and tested on a small subset of the population. This prevents AI models from generalizing to the broad population, and fulfilling the promise of increasing health equity.

Rhino Health is developing a federated platform that lets hospitals and developers collaborate seamlessly without moving data around. This way, we can democratize AI to the broader landscape of healthcare providers, and make AI truly inclusive.

Data Scientists are responsible for working with our clients to enable, support, and advance their Federated Learning projects as well as developing proprietary models to enhance our platform. As part of this, you will:

• Work closely with researchers, clinicians, and ML engineers to enable, support, and advance Federated Learning projects being conducted with the Rhino Health platform.
• Ensure the success of our mission by translating insights from these projects into product improvements that solve real problems for our users.
• Develop libraries, perform analyses, and assist with connecting medical data to the Rhino Health platform
• Develop proprietary AI models to enhance the Rhino Health platform.
• Juggle demands and requirements in a fast-pace and high-throughput environment.
• Keep up to date on new advancements in Federated Learning, Healthcare AI, and other domains.

• An experienced medical data practitioner, with a proven track record of working with different types of healthcare data

Your qualifications are:

• 3+ years experience working with healthcare data, with deep familiarity of medical imaging data and the DICOM format.
• 3+ years developing real world applications of AI.
• Prior experience working at an early stage startup.
• Solid background in statistics.
• Understanding of diagnostic devices and healthcare data is a must.
