Job Description

Rogo is looking for engineers who can take problems into their own hands, and prototype, iterate, and ship quickly. You're going to wear many hats and you're going to grapple with all sorts of technical challenges. You'd be perfect for this role if you have full-stack experience, aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, and are comfortable taking on a lot of responsibility. What you'll do

• Help build and architect a robust product and API for doing data exploration in plain English.
• Develop analytic data products across econometric, statistic, and machine learning domains
• Create beautiful and dynamic visualizations for exploring data.
• Contribute to the design and creation of a robust ensemble algorithm for translating normal English questions into executable commands (semantic parsing).
• Create, deploy, and maintain ETL pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Create experiences, digestible analytic outputs, and automated reasoning capabilities that will continually delight our users.

What you'll need

• You have 2+ years experience working across the tech stack.
• You’re super experienced writing maintainable, testable, production-grade code in Python and ideally one or more other general purpose languages (Java, Scala, Go, C++, etc).
• You have experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling, ideally React.
• You’ve worked in agile environments and have software design and code review skills
• You’re experienced building analytic and business intelligence products or working in a data-driven product setting.
• Bonus:
• You’ve worked with FastAPI and GraphQL in the past.
• You have experience using and deploying on AWS.
• You’re familiar with natural language processing basics and existing toolkits, ideally libraries such as Torch, AllenNLP, and NLTK. (super bonus :))
