 Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning algorithms for prediction of health outcomes and improved care
• Implement machine learning algorithms from the literature and evaluate their performance
• Develop machine learning across different data domains (e.g., images, unstructured data, genomics, wearables, and claims), and across different machine learning domains
• Communicate the performance of the machine learning algorithms across an interdisciplinary team
• Write both internal and external documentation of the novel algorithms, including publications in machine learning and other scientific conferences and journals
• Research and evaluate model architectures and training methods suitable for product datasets
• Deploy & Monitor ML and DL models
• Lead, inspire and set the vision for the EDA’s machine learning roadmap
• You will evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing machine learning algorithms and tools, influence other Principals, Directors, and their technical teams to build the right systems and use the right machine learning tools

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (eg, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning and deep learning with Python
• 3+ years of experience applying data analysis to solve business problems
• 2+ years NLP experience
• 2+ years of experience communicating analytic results to stakeholders
• 1+ years of experience working with cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree
• Previous Data Science experience in healthcare/insurance environment
• Ability to think big, understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective BI solutions
