Senior Data Scientist supporting Journey Analytics. Work consists of advanced analytics and modeling to improve experiences and lower costs for our patients, providers, and clients. Position will support one or more key business areas to help grow the business.

Positions in this function produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from unstructured, diverse datasets typically measured in gigabytes or larger.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, and data modeling to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, test business hypotheses, and make valuable discoveries leading to Marketing campaign recommendations, operational savings, or growth opportunities
• Uses a flexible analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data
• Partner with key business areas to translate insights into solutions that can be validated and implemented
• Ability to learn and implement new concepts/technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of applied data science in marketing or consumer experience: developing, modeling, and analytics
• 2+ years of experience with manipulating data for analytic purposes using tools such as SQL, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Spark, H2O or other programmatic approaches
• Knowledge of extracting and developing key consumer insights

Preferred Qualifcations:

• Experience with Journey Analytics
• Passion for understanding and improving the customer experience
• Exceptional critical thinking skills, including the ability to quickly assimilate new information
