Role: Data Engineering Practice Leader

We are looking for a seasoned leader with the experience in selling and delivering data platforms modernization initiatives in Cloud. We expect strong leadership in providing unbiased advice to our clients and invest in their success through our capabilities and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and our channel partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Present Data Engineering practice capabilities and experiences to make strong impact with clients in sales and pre-sales conversations
• Advise clients in different areas data & analytics platforms
• Identify areas of interest in the marketplace and design strategy and roadmap for growing or incubating such capabilities
• Continue to build strong teams for enhancing capabilities to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace
• Drive conversations with the clients on the need for data platform modernization and rationalize the need for adopting emerging tools and technologies
• Become trusted advisor for client stakeholders in the Data & Analytics platforms
• Act as Program Sponsor from Tredence and make decisions on right investments in the short term, near term and longer term for growing the channel revenue
• Continue sensing the market trends and guide the Vertical and rest of the leadership to focus on right investments in growing our capabilities
• Provide thought leadership to the client stakeholders around topics such as data platforms maturity, insights driven culture, modernization strategies, DataOps and Self-service

Qualification & Experience

•  Minimum of 12+ years of Consulting experience in data & analytics space
• 5+ years’ experience leading data & analytics platform modernization initiatives leveraging either Hadoop or Cloud
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Sales and Pre-sales role in Data & Analytics Consulting ecosystem
• Led the design, development and deployment of data & analytics solutions in the form of delivery accelerators, business solutions and automation led frameworks
• Strong communication and storyboarding skills
• Experience in building and sustaining strong relationships across the spectrum
• Experience selling Consulting engagements for a SI or Consulting firm
• Experience developing business case for modernization through creative and intuitive frameworks
• Picked up modern technology trends and presented to audiences of different levels of knowledge and experience
• Good understanding of engagement economics
• Familiarity to operate in an Onsite-Offshore delivery model
• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
