Job Description

Infosys is seeking Azure Data Engineer with experience in native Azure components and Data Engineering on Azure. The Data Engineer is a core member of the team responsible for providing digital solutions to data challenges through implementation of Cloud-native data solutions to support use cases. This role will be responsible for developing, optimizing and standardizing data pipelines, creating robust data models for data publishing while complying with, and adding value to, the data architecture. Perform data model design, data formatting, and ETL development optimized for efficient storage, access, and computation to serve various use cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate can be located anywhere in the US, this position may require travel in the US.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• 3 Years of experience in Cloud based modern data platforms
• 3 Years of hands-on experience in developing, and successfully operationalizing complex/large scale data management projects
• Hands-on experience implementing data processing using Azure services like ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse/DW, Azure SQL DB, Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Functions, Azure Analysis Service, Databricks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Pyspark and snowflake, CI / CD exposure will be an added advantage
• Experience in SQL Development, specifically with complex queries is preferred
• Experience in IICS ETL tool is preferred
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
