Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant with experience in Data Governance. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive work experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 8 years of Data Governance (DG) experience in a Consulting role
• Account Management – Engage with client in early stages to understand business problem , help client in high level solution , estimation and timelines . Help in account growth via account mining activities and working closely with sales teams.
• Data& Analytics focus with prior experience in Architecture , consulting , Cloud transformations ,Data engineering concepts.
• Review work deliverables for team and ensuring delivery is done with quality and on time.
• Anchor Sales proposal within account or with in practice for solution definition , commercials and overall proposal creation.
• Program management for big programs ensuring quality , schedule adherence and value to client.
• Thought leadership in Data & Analytics with expectation of taking POV on newer areas to client.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, we are not able to sponsor at this time

Preferred Skills

• At least 15 years experience with atleast last 8-10 years in Data and Analytics space
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure and AWS
• Proven experience in managing large Data and Analytics engagements.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle
• At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
• Partner with Data Stewards for requirements, integrations, and processes, participate in meetings and working sessions
• Partner with Data Management and integration leads to continuously improve Data Management technologies and processes
• At least 2 years of experience in one of the below:
• Data privacy, compliance or data governance implementation
• Data protection & data security measures (encryption, anonymization etc.)
• Certification or End-to-End implementation of frameworks / offerings experience in any of the Regulations/Act/Laws like CCPA, GDPR, AML, KYC, CDD, MiFID, BCBS, HIPPA, IFRS etc.
• At least 2 years of experience on any one of data governance, data catalogue, data discovery and data security tools
• Strong SQL/PL SQL experience for data analysis, report generation, data profiling and reverse engineering
• Prior experience of working closely with business and data stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, create a plan for delivering the artifacts & lead the team to create and deliver the artifacts as per the project requirements
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with business, subject matter experts and delivery teams to develop strategic business solutions.
• Experience in Data Governance of wide variety of data types structured semi structured and unstructured data and wide variety of data sources
• Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• CI / CD exposure
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
• Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus and capable of creating data governance roadmap
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
