As a SDE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale ML solutions for our world-wide customer base. In this, you will collaborate closely with a team of scientists to influence our overall strategy and define the team’s road map. You will also drive the system architecture, spearhead best practices that enable a quality product, and help coach and develop junior engineers. A successful candidate will have an established background in engineering large scale software, a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years professional experience in software development of multi-threaded, scalable and highly-available distributed systems demonstrating object-oriented design, data structures, and high-performance computing.
• 2+ years in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, Python, C/C++, C#.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years professional experience in software development of multi-threaded, scalable and highly-available distributed systems
• 3+ years in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, Python, C/C++, C#.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with highly distributed, multi-tenet systems with clear state-full/state-less boundaries.
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools such as Python, Numpy and MATLAB/Octave.
