In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design, test, and deploy data science models via cloud infrastructure to support our Food, Beverage and Sports industry clients. You’ll support the roll-out of an existing suite of products while working with a team of data engineers, software developers, and business intelligence analysts to build our next generation of tooling.

We’re a Python and AWS focused team, using a tech stack of: Python, Docker, and a range of AWS services like S3, Lambda, Sagemaker, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECR, and Fargate.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with our Software Engineering, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams to understand data sources and business requirements
• Build, test, support, and enhance data science models
• Work within a collaborative team, adhering to Agile best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Manage personal work output on Azure Boards

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy)
• Excellent written and verbal communicator
• Experience with Exploratory Data Analysis techniques
• Familiarity working with structured and unstructured data
• Database knowledge
• Proficiency with Git
• Strong logical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Collaborative and proactive when solving problems

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with SCRUM methodology
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS)
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code
• Experience using Python Machine Learning and NLP libraries (SKLearn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, SpaCy)
