Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for the data science team’s cyber data acquisition and enrichment efforts, through prototyping new data products and supporting partnership efforts
• Contribute to our cyber security risk assessment products and communicate insights to underwriters and policyholders
• Collaborate with the Threat Intelligence team to build data driven dynamic underwriting and pricing tools
• Collaborate with Product Managers and the Insurance Team to translate business problems into data problems, and solve them
• Mentor peers on the technology team about security industry trends, and act as a security data subject matter expert
• Clearly communicate analysis and train stakeholders to use our security data products

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in analytical information security roles, including threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, red teaming or penetration testing.
• Knowledge of current security trends, threats, and mitigations
• Experience working with cyber threat intelligence data, including open source and other common industry vendors
• Ability to prototype security data products and integrate with external APIs utilizing Python, Bash or other scripting languages
• Expertise with SQL or other database querying language
• You are curious and able to adapt to different domains
