Responsibilities
- Receives assignments from technology team lead in the form of objectives and technical designs to implement technical solutions.
- Engages with team members business analysts, client service teams and data scientists to understand data needs for the project and produce technical design
- Data management from disparate data sources and preparation of data for further data analysis
- Develop scalable production grade data validation and automation scripts
- Follows data integrity, quality standards, frameworks and templates, naming conventions, coding standards, and adheres to best data management practices
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Math, Engineering or related discipline
- Experience with R data analysis and development
- Experience with R tidyverse packages preferred
- Experience with Python, Pandas and Numpy packages preferred
- Experience supporting large volumes of incoming data from clients and 3rd party sources in various formats such as text, csv, EDI X12 files and access database formats
- Experience with ETL development in SSIS or similar a strong plus
- Highly motivated, strong problem solver, self-starter and fast learner with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills
- Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
