Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and assessing the National Cryptologic University’s training to ensure that student’s provide a high return on investment to the organization.
  • Assess training using the Kirkpatrick/Phillips model to determine the return on investment that students have provided to their organization from instructional modules that they attended. Candidate will be responsible in developing assessment tools to capture immediate, short-term, and long-term feedback and retention of skills proficiency directly correlated to training.
  • Candidate will develop training modules using the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model, focused on adult learning model. Candidate can apply the Brinkerhoff methodology to modify and improve existing modules to ensure current training is optimized for the learner and skills retention is sustained. The candidate will assess curriculums, modify, and engage stakeholders to improve curriculums to deliver intended learning objectives.
  • Candidate will develop manual and automated data collection tools to support training assessment. Candidate will design, pilot, employ, and collect survey results specific to training as well as skills retention. Candidate will design and conduct focus groups with adult learners. Candidate will prepare and conduct interviews to collect specific feedback on training and curriculum development. Candidate is responsible for conducting statistical analysis and interpreting results on data collection to inform curriculum development and modification decisions. Candidate will prepare results in written reports, presentations, and briefings with a high degree of technical and professional expertise

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required to be considered for this role:

  • An ACTIVE AND CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Poly (Full Scope or Life Style poly preferred)
  • must be willing to be upgraded to Full Scope Poly

The following skills/knowledge/experience are preferred for this role:

Two to Four years demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Training or appropriate education in Research Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, or any other related fields.
  • Implementing needs assessment and evaluations focused on human performance.
  • Educational program design and evaluation
  • Demonstrated performance implementing interview techniques, focus groups, data collection and analysis, report writing, and written/graphic presentations
  • Two to Four years demonstrated experience conducting survey services. Current (within the past two years) demonstrated and/or documented experience in the following:
  • Survey consultation and research development, interview techniques, focus groups, data collection and analysis, survey management, report writing, and written/graphic presentations.
  • Survey design, development, delivery, and implementation
  • Data collection (both manual and electronic) and survey management logistics.
  • Report writing and written/graphical presentation(s).
  • Training or appropriate education in Educational Research, Instructional Design, Industrial, or any other related fields.
  • Identifying human performance gaps and non-training related barriers.
  • Educational program design and evaluation
  • Demonstrated performance in interview techniques, focus groups, data collection and
  • analysis, report writing, and written/graphic presentations
  • Minimum two years demonstrated experience in the following:
  • Development and implementation of evaluation strategies.
  • Development of cost benefit analysis of educational and training programs.
  • Applying Kirkpatrick and Phillips evaluation models.
  • Training or appropriate education in Research Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Educational Research, Instructional Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or other related fields with an emphasis on applied research and program evaluation.
  • Educational program design and evaluation
  • Recent (within past two years) demonstrated and documented experience in:
  • Using surveys, interview techniques, focus groups, data collection and analysis, survey management, report writing, and written/graphic presentations
  • Data collection (both manual and electronic) and survey management logistics
  • Data input and analysis
  • Using univariate and multivariate statistics
  • Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
