About the department

Cloudflare is looking to grow our Business Intelligence team responsible for enabling various product and business teams such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, Infrastructure and Product Development teams with data and analytics. Our team currently has Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, DevOps and Full Stack Engineers. We are looking for enterprising software engineering students to join our Lisbon team. The role is open to students looking for part-time internships during the school year or summer only interns.

Cloudflare’s internship program is comprehensive - you will not only learn and build on technical skills but will get to know the company and business and do impactful work. You will be taking things from idea to launch in many cases and work with a very diverse group of stakeholders and partners.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Enrolled in Masters or Ph.D / graduate research program in Computer Science or related STEM field (exceptional senior year BSc may be considered with commensurate experience and evidence of contributions)
• Hands on experience in full stack application development
• Interest or experience in data engineering, data science and making data impactful
• Have or able to obtain authorization to work in Portugal
• Ability and interest to learn new skills and technologies quickly
• Excellent communication skills

 Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with container based deployments such as Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience with React JS or Go
