Overview of Position

As a key subject matter expert, The Principal Analytics Advisor will utilize their unique knowledge and broad expertise of healthcare claims analytics to drive customer success with CHC solutions and to establish innovative analytics-based editing capabilities. The Principal Analytics Advisor will employ thought leadership to direct initiatives and establish best practices for the analytics advisor role across editing solutions. They will provide mentoring to support the development of other analytics advisors and will be instrumental in the development of analytics offerings, methodology, tools and deliverables.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Meet client business and analytics goals with Change Healthcare editing capabilities
• Establish best practices for the analytics advisor role across editing solutions
• Assert confidence and reliability as a trusted adviser to drive client facing initiatives through to conclusion
• Act as single point of coordination for benchmark data acquisition and ensuring data integrity of information to drive concept development and assess editing opportunities
• Consults with clients at an expert level to translate business needs into analytics solutions. Effectively weighs business value and technical tradeoffs as well as relevant big data environment elements to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of analytics projects
• Drive cross solution analytics to support emerging customer needs and adoption of the Change Healthcare Platform initiatives
• Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups to work issues and navigate next steps
• Leads development of solutions with high complexity and risk with business area implications
• Resolves issues and removes barriers that hinder analytics initiatives and builds contingency plans to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments Example: development of persistence reporting etc.
• Participate in key sales and marketing support across editing solutions
• 10 to 20 % may be required to customer sites or internal meetings

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Bachelor’s degree AND 12+ years of healthcare claims analytics and editing experience; OR Master’s degree AND 8+ years of healthcare claims analytics and editing experience; OR a PhD and 5+ years of healthcare claims analytics and editing experience
• Experience in process improvements
• Experience presenting to C Level and Executives
• Experience analyzing large data sets
• Experience using advanced analytic tools

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.10 to 20 % domestic travel to client site or meetings.
