In this role, you will become a member of pulseData's data science team. You'll work on a suite of data science projects to meet the needs of our clients and get to contribute in massive ways towards a growing organization.

The Role:

• As a data scientist, you will be part of the clinical domain expert panel here at pulseData. You'll assist with defining standard data quality checks at appropriate stages to ensure all data meets requirements for operations, diagnostics and reporting.
• You'll wrangle large data sets from client health systems and manipulate them in cloud-hosted databases.
• You'll fine tune models, and build out a suite of data science projects for our clients.
• You'll provide model validation using iterative medical chart reviews, generating insights, identifying data quality issues to equip our data science team with the best clean data for deployment-ready models.
• You'll combine clinical domain knowledge and data skills to generate useful insights from our data.
• You'll work on normalizing EHR and claims data into bespoke data schema.

Your Background:

• You have a quantitative degree - preferably in computer science or something similar.
• You have at least 3 years of hands on experience as a Data Scientist.
• You're experienced with and comfortable using python.
• You possess a growth mindset and consider yourself a team player.
• You're willing to get your hands dirty in data and you're excited to learn & contribute.
• You can think outside the box and work with high dimensional data.
