About Me
My name is Shaowen Zhu and I am a 4th?year PhD student (expected to graduate in 2023) from Texas A&M University. I major in bioinformatics and machine learning, and I got my MS degree in my current lab, so I have an experience on related topics for nearly 5 years. My research interests are mainly focused on computational protein design (CPD) with deep learning methods, and I have rich experience on multiple deep models like generative models (such as GAN, VAE and the diffusion models), language models (such as Transformer and BERT) and graph neural networks (such as GCN, GAT and GIN), and gotten two projects published and four in progress. Therefore I have a solid foundation on the machine learning techniques and software engineering.
