About Me

With a solid foundation in data analytics and growing expertise in programming and machine learning, I am excited to take on an opportunity to contribute my education and background to an exciting, progressive organization. I am a fast learner passionate about integrating new technology into practical solutions. My journey into data analysis began as a digital marketing manager, where I used data-driven strategies to optimize campaigns and understand market trends. This experience ignited a deeper interest in data-based problem solving, leading me to pursue a graduate degree in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Through my ongoing coursework, I've developed a strong foundation in data mining, cleaning, processing, and analysis using tools like Python, R, SQL, and Excel. I've also begun to build a foundation in using, refining, and validating machine learning models, model validation. In a recent project, I trained and tested various machine learning models to identify topic trends and sentiment in Reddit text data. This involved extensive data mining and cleaning using Python and R, testing models for accuracy, selecting the best model for the research question, and presenting findings in a clear and accessible manner. This experience deepened my understanding of machine learning and fueled my passion for expanding my skillset in this field. Through my coursework, I’ve gained proficiency in SQL, Python, and R, using them extensively in statistical analysis. I am excited about the opportunity to apply my education and learn from the professionals in the field. In addition to my academic background, I bring seven years of experience as a marketing manager, where I developed a broad skill set, including client relationship building, project management, and experience in both individual and collaborative work environments. My diverse experience, combined with my passion for learning, will enable me to thrive and make meaningful contributions to any team. I am a positive, open-minded, and integrous team member who works efficiently, upholds high standards, and brings empathy and enthusiasm to the workplace.
