My name is Melson Heo, and I recently completed my bachelor's degree in computer engineering at CCNY, with a minor in economics. As a native of New York City, I have a strong passion for Data Analytics, AI, and Robotics. Throughout my academic journey, I have undertaken several noteworthy projects, such as implementing a Python Stock Analysis utilizing Machine Learning techniques, developing a Sudoku App using Java and Android Studio, and creating a C++ Sorting Project that involved benchmarking different sorting algorithms. I have also collaborated with another individual on a web design project, where we created a website focused on Esports. During my time at CCNY, I actively participated in various organizations and clubs. I served as the treasurer of the Cybersecurity Club, vice president of the Women's Robotics Club, and was a member of LAESA-SHPE (Latin American Engineering Student Association-Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) and CCNY Esports Club. In terms of work experience, I have had the opportunity to work as a research intern at CCNY and as a remote extern under Paragon One at Mobalytics. As a research intern at CCNY, I concentrated on developing data models that highlighted the advantages of the hydrogen economy in different countries, with a specific focus on its potential benefits in the USA. I collected crucial research data and utilized it to create informative presentations for senior management meetings on a bi-weekly basis. During my time at Paragon One with Mobalytics, I engaged in researching crypto games to identify potential monetization opportunities. This experience provided me with exposure to Web3 games and Blockchain games, and I gained valuable insights into how these games can benefit businesses looking to enter the crypto markets. Looking forward, my aspiration is to secure a full-time position in the field of data science, where I can work alongside a diverse and supportive team. I am always enthusiastic about learning new things throughout my projects and pride myself on my friendly communication skills when collaborating with others. Data analysis and software implementation are my true passions, as evidenced by my various projects.
