About Me

Hello, my name is Sylvia, and I have a great passion for data! I recently completed my master's degree in Operations Research at Cornell University, following my Bachelor's degree in Statistics from a university in China. Currently, I am working at Comscore, where we provide cross-platform media measurement solutions to assist clients in making informed marketing decisions. My primary focus lies in managing the development of demographic modeling for Comscore's research panel. This panel consists of carefully recruited individuals with controlled demographic composition, allowing us to gain insights into our clients' target audience. By completing over 60% of the panelists' demographic profiles with demographic models, we are better equipped to interpret their web browsing behavior accurately. My daily tools are SQL(Snowflake, SQL server), Python (PySpark, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), AWS (S3 bucket), Excel. Prior to my role at Comscore, I took the lead on Capstone projects involving data solutions for companies such as Uniqlo, focusing on sales, and Tencent, concentrating on customer acquisition.
