We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer who shares our vision.

Working under the guidance of our Senior Devops Manager, and the team of Product Managers, Backend Engineers, this role requires the ability to work at a fast pace on developing global scalability for our products and services, while providing the 24/7 reliability users expect from financial applications. Your work is critical to the success of our company's goal to spread peer-to-peer electronic cash to the world.

Requirements

  1. BA or BS degree or relevant experience
  2. Previous experience operating Linux and Cloud-based environments
  3. Familiar with source control systems: git, mercurial, etc
  4. Familiar with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra
  5. Experience in at least one of the following: Unix/Linux shell scripting, go, java, or another programming language
  6. Working knowledge of networking concepts: tcp/ip, common protocols, OSI model, etc
  7. Familiar with container technologies: docker, podman, lxc, etc
  8. Ability to debug, trace and diagnose issues in remote systems
  9. Communicates well in both written and verbal English

Nice to have

  1. Experience operating distributed-systems
  2. Experience with service discovery and configuration
  3. Experience with working with a multi-region infrastructure
  4. Previous experience deploying and operating CI/CD platforms: jenkins, circle-ci, concourse, github, etc
  5. Previous experience with provisioning platforms: terraform, chef, puppet, etc
  6. Previous experience with container orchestration: kubernetes, ecs, etc
