Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to conduct research in the intersection of Human Robot Interaction (HRI), robotics, and agentic AI. In this internship, you will develop innovative software for enabling and supporting end users of real-world robot applications by integrating modern generative AI capabilities. During this internship, you may develop LLM agents, agentic systems and novel ways of interaction with LLMs and robots.

How your work moves the mission forward

• Collaborate with industrial researchers focusing on real-world applications in automated manufacturing.
• Develop agentic AI software to build innovative user experiences for robotics.
• Advance state-of-the-art of HRI, robotics, and AI by evaluating innovative agentic interfaces for robotics.
• Improve user pain points by analyzing current workflows and identifying novel ways to improve them.
• Contribute towards the development of our robotics software platform, Flowstate.

Skills you will need to be successful

• Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Hands on experience with programming robotic applications, having worked with physical hardware is a plus.
• Experience working with and building agentic systems and interactions.
• Knowledge and proficiency in Python and general software development.
• Enthusiasm for solving challenging real-world problems in HRI, robotics, and AI.

Salary Range

$70.19 - $70.19 USD
