We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our dynamic team at ASAPP. As a Product Manager focused on NLP/NLU Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of robust and reusable Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) components. Your expertise will empower various product engineering pods across the organisation to leverage these shared services, accelerating product development and enhancing our overall capabilities.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute the vision and roadmap for NLP/NLU Shared Services, aligned with the company's product strategy.
• Collaborate closely with other product managers, data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to identify key NLP/NLU components that can be developed as shared services.
• Lead the development and deployment of NLP/NLU Shared Services, ensuring they are scalable, well-documented, and designed for reuse by multiple product teams.
• Drive the integration of NLP/NLU Shared Services into our product ecosystem, enabling faster and more efficient development of AI-powered products.
• Conduct regular assessments of the shared services' performance and usability, gathering feedback from product teams to continuously improve and iterate on the offerings.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP, NLU, shared ML, and other language technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our shared services offerings.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on developing and delivering successful software products involving NLP/ NLU ML technologies.
• In-depth understanding of NLP concepts, algorithms, and frameworks, with experience in building and deploying NLP/NLU models and services.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product roadmaps, with a strategic mindset and a customer-centric approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, capable of driving multiple initiatives concurrently and meeting deadlines.

What we’d like to see

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Background delivering enterprise software or engaging with enterprise customers
