You will join a small team of engineers delivering state of the art Software Test Development, Development support and Continuous Integration technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take an active role in supporting development work in AI/ML in Graphics.
  • Making scripts and tools (Python or similar) to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support code quality, static analysis, continuous integration, bespoke test frameworks and other systems
  • Help drive project quality and implement suitable tools and processes
  • Working with multiple teams, communicating with teams worldwide
  • Learning about PlayStation tools, systems and products; in particular our implementation of Graphics/ML systems

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable Python programming skills to a good standard
  • A software development related degree, such as software engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Good team working and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Experience working on Linux systems
  • Familiarity with different image formats
  • Image processing experience
  • Machine Learning / AI experience/understanding

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on a consumer facing ML product
  • Experience of source code control systems, build systems such as Jenkins, compile environments, automation, VMs and other related DevOps systems and processes
  • Knowledge of writing test cases for APIs and console applications
  • Knowledge or experience of Agile, Waterfall and similar development methodologies
  • Knowledge or experience in C/C++ or similar.
  • Experience with Visual Studio and support tools
  • Games development background – especially in console development
  • Experience in using test automation/testing frameworks such as Cpp/Unit
