Job Description

As a Machine Learning Engineering Manager in Photos Intelligence, you will be leading the team that is responsible for developing ML and AI capabilities that deliver amazing Apple Intelligence features for Photos. Candidates should have a proven track record that demonstrates a strong background in ML and AI, engineering leadership, innovation, strong collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for designing and developing high-quality software.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven track record of building and leading ML and AI teams that have consistently shipped ML / AI models and software that drive user facing features and insights
• Strong foundations in ML and AI with experience in one or more of the following areas: Deep Neural Networks, Large Language Models in Natural Language Processing, Large Language-Vision Models, Graph Learning, and Information Retrieval

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Machine Learning for embedded systems
• Passionate about mentoring and helping engineers grow in their careers
• Always curious, a great collaborator, and communicator

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on yoAur skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
